U.K. singer, songwriter Bellah shares her latest album titled “Adultsville”.
Bellah showed up in 2019 with her acclaimed debut record “Last Train Home” and followed that up with an outstanding sophomore release “The Art of Conversation”, and now she gives fans her third body of work titled “Adultsville”.
This project is different as she includes a ton of previously released music including her huge single from earlier this year ‘Prototype’, ‘In The Moment’, and her latest single (and video) for ‘Garden’. She also gives an extended version of her single ‘Evil Eye’. The release is an acknowledgement that she’s no longer making that little girl crush music anymore, her topics are much more mature, and she shows off her vocals on the Apple-exclusive acoustic versions of Prototype’ and ‘In The Moment’. She also covers Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber’s ‘Stay’ as she slows it down putting out an acoustic performance.
Bellah tells Apple Music that this project has been shelfed for almost a year due to pandemic delays as she was hoping it would have shown up as early as December – but it makes it arrival now. She also writes on her Instagram account @IBeBellah saying “I wanted to make a project about this moment in time. Adultsville is how I feel, how I’ve navigated my relationships, my work, my growth, my sense of self! Adultsville is a place I found myself in without remembering how I got here or what to do now that I am here. I’ve felt lost, found, depressed, anxious, elated, excited, out of love, in love, exhausted and full of energy all at the same time. I’m so happy I get to share this with you.”
