The legendary Brandy makes her return with her seventh studio LP titled “B7”.
Its quite a testament to see an artist with such sustainability, making #1 hit records for four decades. Yeah, its been that long since Brady told us ‘I Wanna Be Down’. Truth is, if you circle back to that debut album from ’94, Brandy really sounds timeless.
Today, with Darhyl ‘DJ’ Camper, fans get to go on another journey with Brandy as she publishes “B7”, containing 15-tracks albeit with 3 interludes. The lead single ‘Baby Mama’ was released in May featuring Chance the Rapper, which speculators dubbed as a virtual hand-off to her daughter. Additional advanced singles also show up on the album with the Daniel Caesar ‘Love Again’ and ‘Rather Be’ that just dropped last week.
On the eve of the release, Brandy also gives fans ‘Borderline’ accompanied by a visual (attached here) setting the tone for what to expect on this album. It’s another masterpiece from Mrs. Norwood applying her signature vocal layers and insanely good harmonies right through touching on a slue of topics.
