U.S. artist Coi Leray shares her debut project “Trendsetter”.
The mostly hip hop artist makes her way to this R&B publication strictly due to her feature list across the tweny-track project. We know that hip hop and R&B can cross lines, but Coi brings her Universal Music label and Billions of Tik Tok viewers to the forefront as she gets superstars like H.E.R., Nav, Yung Bleu and Nicki Minaj to make guest appearances.
But Coi isn’t saying she needs to rely on features to make a bop, she feels like she is the perfect collaborator. Coi hasn’t had the easiest or most welcoming introductions, getting booed at her concert and now getting hated on for her 1st week sales (reported to have only done 11,000 units in the first week).
Coi says “God has been the best father to me. I can’t complain about anything,” she said. “My debut album is amazing and not one song can you say is bad.”
