DVSN publish their fourth official studio LP with “Working on my Karma”.
The hype around this project was definitely different than their others as social media postings had visuals of legendary producers Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox working with the Canadian duo in the studio. The first single ‘If I Get Caught’ definitely paved the way for the title of the project, but didn’t necessarily connect with fans. It fit the theme and narrative of the album itself but didn’t really resonate with listeners.
The pair followed that up with another legendary name when DVSN brought in Jagged Edge for ‘What’s Up’. The features on the album don’t stop there either as Daniel and Nineteen85 welcome Yung Bleu (now known simply as Bleu) on the first track titled ‘Last Time’. The album gets its final single and video for 90’s influenced ‘Don’t Take Your Love Away’ which premiered on Friday alongside the LP.
