Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Neo Soul pioneer Dwele reflects on his album “Greater Than One”.
Sitting in the studio, he reflects on his last album which was released eight-years-ago. Dwele has been mostly off the grid since then, recently popping up with a feature on backgrounds for Big Sean’s latest release ‘Detroit 2’ on track 8: ‘Everything That’s Missing’. It’s a perfect fit for the oft-featured Slum Village (also from Detroit) artist who took his start by pushing an indy CD called “Rize” back in ’98, known then by the name Dwele G. His evolution turned him into an enormously successful artist, also calling Toronto as his second home, with five LP’s and countless features.
In the reflection-video, he circles back on how tracks were laid, created and even talks about and unreleased songs that never made the album. During the segment, he also gives fans a sample of the unheard music which you can watch via replay on his Facebook account here or connect with him on IG.
