Jvck James publishes a new EP titled “On The Rocks”.
The four-track release comes out of the blue just foreshadowing the news on social media a day earlier that something was in the water – and here it is! He gives us the goods yet again with a track list comprised of ‘Galaxy Swim’, ‘Drunk Love’, the November lead single (and video for) ‘Love in the Club’ and the snippet shared a month ago that comes to fruition, ‘Hennessy Tears’.
Apple Music shares an interview with Jvck about the project, as he explains that he’s always felt like he lived in his own world, sharing “the majority of the kids were listening to rap, so I always felt like an outcast growing up. Singing was never cool, so I would try and hide it to remain as normal as I could”. Its a great release for Jvck who comes off his highly acclaimed album “Joyride” from 2021 that saw the majority of R&B blog’s giving it top 5 credentials as he does fans a solid keeping them engaged – In fact, he mentions Joyride a couple of times in this latest project 🙂
The project is much more than just a bridge, its a continuous evolution for the UK star-in-the-making who is clearly still on the way up. The East-Londoner digs into his gospel upbringing to deliver that tender and soulful experience, speaking on topics of Love, Intimacy and Heartbreak.
