Chicago singer songwriter Khaliyah X publishes her EP “Just4TheSummer”.
The debut EP from the U.S. native is really well done as she includes her single from last month as a bonus track with ‘We Outside’. Her brand of Neo Soul is spread across her masterful three singles as she shows off her alluring songwriting with her personality at the forefront as she sings ‘Play with men for fun / never keep just one / can’t settle cuz I’m young.”
She slows it down on ‘Sneaky Link’ as she expresses her honest account of being drunk in love, but the masterpiece for us is on ‘Healing’. The hard hitting beat, the break, her background vocals, the lyrics, it all just comes together and really stands out. A very intriguing debut from this talent out of Illinois.
