Matt Gordon publishes his sophomore project titled “Black Mirror”.
Released on January 1st, the U.S. singer, songwriter sparkles across his fifteen track project showing incredible diversity and artistry across the album. Seeing placements with his single ‘Dangerous’ and buzzworthy attention on ‘Everything’, we wanted to talk about ‘Good Lovin” first.
Produced by LBK, the song embodies late 80’s R&B music, reminiscent of that New Edition, Bobby Brown era that we still get excited about today. In the song, Matt packs all the particular elements to fuse with the instrumental creating a magical track. The only thing its missing is a hip hop verse over the bridge and you’d think this song was made 40 years ago!
It’s no wonder that ‘Everything’ is running up. The intro could be a song by itself as violinist Richard Curran gives you that orchestra-like grand opening laying a sad and somber groundwork that transitions into MattGordon pushing a positive spin as he croons in an illusion of a live concert environment with screaming fans piling up ad lib’s and runs amongst other elements that preserve your dedication to the song.
His features all shine and there truly isn’t a bad record on here. Press play below and share with your friends, this is a magical artist that needs to be on everyone’s playlists. Tap in right here.
