Motion shares his latest project titled “Drink Alone”.
It’s not a directive from the Chicago native, but more of a confession, with the talented artist being wise beyond his years. The massive fifteen-track release adds to a growing catalogue of continuous, impressive R&B music from one of the genre’s more underrated unsigned talents.
He premiere’s the album on Valentine’s Day finding himself at home drinking alone, but its more on his terms then anyone else’s. Standing out from the album is ‘What I Needed’, where Motion describes the premise of the record saying “Sometimes you find that person that’s everything what you were needing.” Maybe that’s speaking to you, or maybe you’re still on that soul-search, but either way, the track is one that needs to be run through.
Motion shows off his vintage sound on the M.E.I.-featured single ‘Remind Me’. He just flew in and he wants to be taken out on the town with his Lady. He’s been here before, but he also knows she’s been through a lot and is protecting herself from getting hurt again. Motion knows how to talk to the ladies when they really mean something to him, as he uses his words as a sledgehammer beating down that proverbial wall that she has in between the two.
It’s the first full body of work for Motion since his 2020 “Summer Canvas“, the same year he also published his acclaimed project “Soul Wave“. This is just the beginning for this artist, so jump aboard and follow him everywhere @gowiththemotion.
