Queen Naija releases her debut LP titled “missunderstood”.
It’s not a typo, the Queen Miss releases a packed-house of features on her 18-track debut full project. The Universal Music artist leads out the project with her previously released singles ‘Pack Lite’, ‘Butterflies pt.2’, ‘Lie To Me’ ft. Lil Durk, the Mulatto-featured ‘Bitter’ and ‘Love Language’ but doesn’t hold out on giving fans more bliss on a dozen more standouts.
You can’t find a song on her portfolio doing less than a million streams, an impressive start to her professional career, as she’s incredible on her second project, previously releasing a self-titled EP in 2018. Admitting here that this album wasn’t at the top of our lists for review on release day, but we had to revisit this album, and we are giving this a glowing review. And why didn’t we want to jump on this? Every song she has performed in has been incredible from her lead-singles to Luh Kel’s ‘Want You’ to ‘Lil Boi’ with Ayanis. An answer we can’t find and explanation for.
Aside from the amazing inventory of collabs with Russ, Kiana Ledé, Jacquees and our favourite track featuring Lucky Daye on ‘Dream’, its a journey of emotions from your standard love and heartache, mixed in with some feel-good topics and empowering narratives. The production is incredible inside the bookends as the tempo’s stay mid providing balance to her vocal skills having neither overpowering the other.
Truly a solid offering. You should give in like we did and get into it right here. You won’t be dissappointed.
