UK singer, songwriter RAY BLK is out with her third studio LP with “Access Denied”.
RAY BLK gives fans a fourteen-track album and a standout body-of-work. She includes her massive single ‘Over You’ ft. Stefflon Don (and Beenie Man on the remix), her Kaash Paige hit ‘MIA‘, ‘Dark Skinned’, ‘Games’, ‘Mine’ and 2020’s ‘Lovesick’. Today, RAY BLK shares a behind the scenes video of The Making of Access Denied, Part 1 sharing that the album took two years to make. You can watch below before streaming the album.
Already out a few days, it’s clear we’re seeing some additional tracks taking off like her confessional single ‘Baggage’ and the 808-pounding title track ‘Access Denied’. It’s been three year since Rita Ekwere last released an album and it looks like she has saved the goods for this one. She tells Apple Music that it took her awhile to get here, as fans had come to expect a certain brand from her, but that wasn’t how she saw herself. Making the shift, its nice to see that Universal Music allowed this transformation and evolution of RAY BLK to happen to who we hear today.
