Rissell is out with his new EP titled “Play My Hand”.
Taking listeners on a journey of introspect and love, Rissell gives fans seven all new songs opting to not include his April 26th single ‘Let’s Talk’. The EP is a journey as he kicks off the project with ‘Grateful’, which has Rissell running through his memories, reflecting on his past, realizing how thankful and grateful he is to those in his life especially to his Mom as he works his way back from a mental health break, appreciating the little things in life so much more.
There is a touch of gospel on here from the North Carolina buzzing artist who celebrates his third project and first since “King Of Hearts” hit platforms back in August of 2019. Rissell has a few standout tracks on here that are poised to be lead singles like ‘Just Tell Me’ and ‘Love’, where he takes inspiration from Avant and Keke Wyatt singing “I can picture us in the living room / by the mantle piece / and you’re telling me you’re loving me / baby”.
