Toronto singer, songwriter Sage Harris does it again on his new EP titled “Figure It Out”.
Featuring the famous foursome from the 2000’s out of Atlanta Jagged Edge on the lead single ‘Let Me Know’, Sage Harris comes flying out of the gate with ‘Tell Somebody’ featuring Preme and Kap G on a hip hop laced first track. He gets back to his smooth dance-spiked on the title track, where the double-meaning ‘Figure It Out’ has Sage celebrating his successes as they figured out the recipe for success with over 1 Million streams in the first day.
The independent artist has perfect timing as he shares his sophomore EP just months after his acclaimed debut his DSP with “Prince Hills” just last summer. The six-track EP is strong right through but especially finishes with a memorable joint in ‘Staking/Best Kept Secret’. The acoustic intro sets the BPM as the snake-snare rattles in with some heavy base as Sage lets his woman go, letting her know its fine for her to do whatever she wants, he considered her his best friend, but her constant shade has done him in. “Told me that you really liked me / I put you by my side / you sent me to my coffin / I know you wouldn’t like if I did you right back / Why you do me like that”.
Overall another impressive body of work from the talented Toronto artist. Stream the whole thing right here!
