Brooklyn singer, songwriter Samoht shares new EP titled “Yang”.
It’s a six-track EP from Samoht (Thomas spelled backwards) that features his lead single ‘Missing You Tonight’ and comes as an independent release, executive produced by WILKE$ and Jack Union.
Samoht shares the project describing it as ‘Art’ and that is very accurate as the project definitely breaks the mold on a typical R&B EP. He really includes everything from piano instrumentals to theatricals to intro’s and shines in the process by delivering his unique art. Samoht says “Thank you to everybody who created this body of work with me.” Watching his album go to #13 on iTunes chart has him celebrating, saying “random drop, no backing other than God, NO PER-ORDER, and a few friends getting together to make Art!”
Standing out on ‘Options’, he conveys his message about being somebody else’s Option, and allows them to do what they want, hoping and preying that his feelings will go away. He knows he’s going to be ok, and if his love wasn’t enough for her, he asks for her to simply let him go – she doesn’t have to stay here and hurt him.
