The Weeknd makes his return with his all new project “Dawn FM”.
This is the follow-up to his record-breaking 2020 album “After Hours” as he trades in one set of make-up details for another. The reviews are out and you likely won’t be able to find a poor one as Abel Tesfaye provides fans with another massive, 16-track project.
With features from Lil Wayne, Tyler the Creator, and a confessional story by Quincy Jones, its the final track that is grabbing attention of listeners. The Weeknd brings in fellow Canadian star Jim Carrey as he climbs into the chair of the radio host with an eerie similarity to that spoken-word monologue from Vincent Price in Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
There’s way too much to go through here, but this is actually a really good album. We have seem a transition of The Weeknd’s music lean heavily towards pop/dance but this is much more rooted with R&B fundamentals. Hope you enjoy, stream it below.
